Do I have to link my bank account?
No. Tap Compass never links to your bank. You tell it which cards you carry and it reads their published reward rules. It never sees your balance or transactions.
Can it switch my card automatically at checkout?
No, and no app can. Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet do not let an app pick your card. Tap Compass recommends the best one and opens your wallet, then you tap it.
